The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park located in Maranhão state, in northeastern Brazil, is one of the most marvelous and unique places in the world. An area encompassing about 1000 square kilometers of white silky sands intercepted at regular intervals by endless cool oases of turquoise lakes.

Solar Shingles Coming to Market
We wrote about the lovely solar roof shingles introduced by Dow Solar a couple of years ago and now they're finally going to be available to the masses. The solar shingles look amazingly like traditional roof shingles and fully replace traditional shingles on the home while generating electricity.

Tune of the Day
Four twelve hour days in a row, and today is my only day off until next Monday, with a good possibility of working six more consecutive twelve hour days, so posts are going to be hit or miss till things at work come back to a semblance of normal.
