The Audi E-Tron
Audi's concept E-tron supercar has now hit the road. AutoWeek gave it a spin, finding that despite its apparent similarity to Audi's gas-powered R8 sports car, the E-tron is a completely different beast.
Chariot Skates
If the objective here was to create a cooler version of roller skating/blading for the 2010's, I'd consider this a flaming failure. If, on the other hand, the objective was to design a big, gawky pair of skates that make people ask "What are those? And what went wrong in your life to convince you that wearing them in public is okay?", then mission accomplished.

Wave Power in Oregon
A project to build the country's first wave power station off the coast of Oregon is finally moving forward. Wave power company Ocean Power Technologies just signed a contract with Oregon Iron Works to start building 10 buoys, with the first one to be deployed a year from now off the coast of Reedsport.

Solar Plus Electric
Toyota Industries Corp. has developed a new charging station for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles that is powered by solar energy. The municipal government of Toyota City has adopted the stations and plans to build 21 stations at 11 places.
